Breakers

Thanks to everyone who attended the pre-season social night at the Bloomsbury Lanes on Friday night. We all had a good time and some of us can now look foward to the new season in the knowledge that we won't be asked to bowl again for a while.

Everyone put in at least one good score but special mention should go to the the Southeys (Jon, Mark and Fiona), who all put in good performances with the ball, with Jon getting the highest score of 180 on the night.

Last year's winner, Mike managed a turkey rather than a duck but still found it difficult to reproduce last years' form. Congratulations to Mandy who came back strong in the second game going from the lowest score of the night to the third highest.

Andy Erskine looks promising and we look forward to seeing him posting a couple of hundreds on the pitch.

Finally, thanks to Emily for organising the night so well.

We do have a game on Sunday and I will email details out tomorrow evening. Look forward to seeing you then.

Andy
